Title: can ghost 2001 floppy restore ghost 2002 image?
Post by oakeshott on Feb 26th, 2002 at 3:58am
I recently imaged my drives on my two pcs but then realised I had used an old ghost 2001 boot floppy to do it, even though I have ghost 2002 installed. The dump seemed to go fine and I had no problems saving and burning the images, but will they restore ok using that same floppy or do I need to make a new one?

PS Very nice guide to ghost, Monsieur Rad

Gracias.

See here:

Looks like Symantec says it'll work .. but I would use the same version to restore that I used to create the image ... one less thing to give you grief.
