There are simply too many cracking wizards out there to protect anything with software-based methods. More sophisticated copy protection schemes simply give crackers a better challenge (which they prefer).

How many millions did the Motion Picture industry spend on protecting DVDs? I think some 16 year old kid broke that in his spare time while waiting for the pizza delivery man to show up with his pepperoni & mushroom pie.

Yeah...I just got a Atlas III 10k drive and before I put it in I think I will install 2k pro...unless you have had or know of issues with this. ;D

w2k pro works beautifully.

the issue with xp might be resolved with the upcoming service pack, but no one knows for sure.

unfortunatly my xp's key code starts with FCKGW :D ...so I think I will be switching to 2k...I have friends tell me its rock solid.
