Title: Got any free ghost files?
Post by Tommy Humphreys on Jun 14th, 2002 at 3:53pm
Does anyone have any fine ghost image files?  I would like to have one with the partitions set up for dual boot.  i've tried and tried but I can't seem to set them up right myself {ignorance, no doubt}.  I just need the partitions so it shouldn't be too large.  I can install the operating systems myself.  I need one for a 10 gig hd and one for a 20 gig hd.  If you know of any online I would appreciate a link.
Thanks,

This would not be practical or legal. Not only would these images not
work on different hardware, but there would be no way of verifying if
users legally own or have rights to the contents of the images.

If you need more assistance, please let us know.

Yeah, unless the image came from a machine with identical hardware, you would have problems. I've never heard of anyone using an image they didn't make themselves.
