Started my PC two days ago,when it got to the windows screen it refused to go further and had to be unplugged to shut down,with the inevitable restart in safe mode from which I could go no further.Copied the ghost image to C: from D:and in seven minutes! PC was back to what it had been a week ago when I made the ghost on to D:.                       Thank heaven for Ghost.

still remember the fist time i restored a ghost image. after having to re-install windows numerous times following driver updates.

started shouting out loud at 2am, "Yes! Yes! It works!"

congrats on having a current image. that's the key. i've restored ~ 25 images, and it seems i never have a problem if i have a current image. i usually image ~ one every 2 weeks. but if i get busy & don't make one for 6 weeks, seems like that's when i have system problems. murphy's law.

if you're like me, you'll start getting brave, doing things you normally wouldn't.
