Title: Ghosting with multiple HDD
Post by blackey on Jul 27th, 2006 at 10:31am
I work as an engineer at a popular video security plant, and my task is to make a ghost image that can be used in production so they can mass produce DVR's.

Question: Our DVR's have multiple HDD's, after ghosting the primary HDD, there are still (upto 3) HDD that are unallocated and unrecognizable without manually going to disk management and allocating the drives. Since production uses a ghostcast server i was wondering if there is a way to initilize all disks and incorporate it into the .gho file?

I have made a batch file that does this when using a CD. i.e. ran ghost then my batch file from the autoexec.bat on the CD. But if production is using only the .gho file, this method will not work.

Using ghost 8.2

Any ideas?
