Forgive me if the answer to this problem has already been posted. I've been searching through threads and knowlege base files for the past two days and I haven't solved this problem.

The problem is exactly as the subject states: Ghost 2003 hangs when the application first loads after booting with a Win98 boot floppy. The only way I've been successful in getting it to load correctly was to use the -noide switch. I tried the -fni switch and it didn't work.

Now this isn't very useful to me as I only have one HD and I was planning on backing up to DVD. Anyone have an idea how I can solve this issue?

Hard Drive: 320 GB Western Digital SATA
RAM: 2 GB ValueSelect
Video: Nvidia G-Force FX 5700LE
NIC: Wireless PCI Adapter IEEE 802.11G
DVD: (2) Light-on SOHW-16935 drives

There may be a BIOS setting for the SATA controller that indicates *combined mode* or *compatibility mode* or something to that effect--may help.

What build of Ghost 2003 do you have--I think the most recent was *build 793*, and for some that helped solve the problems with SATA.
