Felt the desire to announce that I managed to create a bootable DVD and say thanks.

I was on the ropes for a while last night when my first burn wouldn't boot.  In DOS, there was a long list of errors showing.

This morning, with a fresh mind, I went thru the process of building a Boot Image again.  I think I had missed the step of modifying 'autoexec.bat' on my first attempt.  Only excuse I have is I'm not real smart.

I used Nero Burning ROM to write the disc.  The settings NightOwl used in Roxio, I found in Nero.  But, there were lots of things I left as default, unsure of what they needed to be.

The second burn booted to DOS just fine, though, and the image passed the integrity check. I've got a good Boot Image!

This is truly where the fun begins.

I like making unattended Windows Installations with Bootable DVD's that include a wealthy list of all software programs like MS Office 2003, Nero, Photoshop CS2, Kaspersky AV 6.0.1.114, the list goes on and on...

It's like going from playing in the bathtub to the Olympic sized pool.
