Hi,
Got the following error in PE Builder during the creation of the Ghost 9 bootable CD...any idea what's causing it ?

Error: SetupDecompressOrCopyFile() "C:\REATOGO-240\XPSP2\I386\SYS\ROBOEX32.DLL" to "C:\REATOGO-240\ReatogoPE\I386\SYSTEM32\SYS\ROBOEX32.DLL" 3:The system cannot find the path specified.

I had the same problem as you.... my fix was to simply find that file on my C drive (search) and copy it to all the places the REATOGO setup wants it in... Took awhile and a couple of tries at it, but eventually I got them all and the reatogo run compiled with no errors

Ghost 9 standalone or part of SystemWorks?

Which Ghost 9 version are you using? 9.0.0.2583 or 9.0.2.3981?

Which Ghost 9 plugin are you using? From Frodo's site or the Reatogo AutoHelp one?

I found (in a thread somewhere) a guy who had the same problem. He talked about stopping 2 processes (gearsec and  ghostray) before building the cd. I did, and it worked for me. Now i have another problem. The cd boots just fine.  I start Ghost clicking on "Ghost v9", then i click on "Back Up Now" and on "Back Up Drives". After 30 sec the following error appears "Error creatind view. The view is not installed correctly".  I click ok and after few secs, an error from Microsoft .NET Framework pops. "An unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will be shut down immediately. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.". If I click Continue the V2i Console starts loading then freezes. Wheres the problem now ?

P.S. I use Ghost 9 standalone 9.0.0.2583 and the "datarec_ghostv9_sf3.rar" plugin from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=140774  (frodo's ?)

TaNg73, thanks for the info. You can update your Ghost 9 to the latest version by running LiveUpdate from the Help menu in Ghost 9.

You are running Frodo's plugin which is not as stable as the Reatogo refinement. The paths you described don't work because they don't exist. So get the Reatogo AutoHelp plugin and everything should work from square 1.

- Downloaded Ghost9_autoHelp plugin from Reatogo
- Ran autoHelp_dotNet.cmd first, then autoHelp_Ghost9.cmd who gave me an error "There was an error writing the ADS Stream to your HPC file. This really should'nt happening"...man...am i doomed or what ?
