Title: Ghost 10: STOP: c000021a
Post by rulirahm on Jan 16th, 2007 at 6:56am
I made a video of an error of my Norton Ghost 10.

I got the error after removing IE7. I got spywares: msrtmon.exe and svcmon.exe. I search through Google and the solution is I must remove IE7. My another program also received an error about Runtime C++ after removing IE7.

So, I decided to restore an recover point by booting my PC from Ghost Recovery Disc. But Ghost received this error :(

Now, I install again IE7 and problems gone. I can see Ghost again.

haha, that was pretty good. i think that's the first time i ever seen anybody make/post a video of their error.

you have it sideways, tho, making it hard to read.

can you post a link to where it says to remove IE7?

The picture about where I found some process has an established connection in my computer.

Searched through Google and ask some friends through MSN to find any info about that process:

Actually, kind of hard to understanding that we must remove IE7 to prevent active spywares ???

The 1st link at the last post telling me to remove IE7.

The video taken from my smartphone  :D

Hello,

I got this error again (STOP: c000021a) >:(
I think I know now why I'm receiving this error. If I use a copy CD of Ghost RE (the CD is CD-R), I got the error. But, if I use CD-RW, I don't.

Can someone confirmed it?

Wuuuhhhh...., I'm just finishing recovering my computer again. But, there's an error. I got error "invalid boot.ini loading from c:\windows" while starting Windows after finishing recovery. I just edited my boot.ini, get a backup from C:\Windows\pss.
