This is to let you know (anyone, but primarily the moderators & regulars) that there are numerous "Mods" available:

The site currently uses YaBB v2.1, so I'm guessing any mods created for v2.0 would also work, tho those created for v1.x probably would not.

Their listed top-20 might be a good place to start looking (lower-right corner).

Lemme know if you see any you think would be good to have.

BoardMod is a slick little program that modifies *sections* of code in the original YaBB files, to incorporate various/numerous "mods". I have used it several time previously, with the old (v1.x) forum software.

 A suggestion... the News just under the Date/Time, the black text doesn't show up well...

I had changed the fader to white, but it was flickering back to black and became distracting, so I made it black, while I figured out a fix (which you seem to have provided.)

So far, we have 4 mods installed.

1. admin mod, which gives us more control over the board (setting defaults, etc.)

2. news fader mod, which allows us to tweak the news fader, so it looks good in/with the different board templates

3. email mod, which gives us more control over banning spammers, should we get attacked again like we did last spring:

i was also thinking of installing this mod:

which allows us to control the order of stickied threads

this one is a little more work than the others, so i'm hesitant to jump in.
