Title: Ghost 12 Virus Scanner Post by chillihead on Jun 28th, 2007 at 7:59pm
I noticed on the recovery boot cd it has an option under (analyze) to do a Virus Scan? It also asks for an updated definition file if available. Whats the name of the file it wants thats updated? I cant find anything specific in my Windows Norton Anti-Virus program directory for virus definitions it could use.
Thanks... |

chillihead,
From Windows, insert the Ghost 12 CD. It auto-starts and you then click Run Update Locator. Follow instructions. Let us know if it works. |

Yep, that worked. You have to have some sort of Norton Anti-virus version installed first. Then it will dump a new folder on your desktop that contains the files needed for the recovery cd virus scanner. 8-) |

Can you access these files from the Ghost 12 Recovery Environment?
