are there any authorities I can contact, or do something, because Sprint cell phone service has completley screwed me.

And I am not talking about an issue in which there was something in the fine print that I failed to read....I'm talking about a Sprint customer support representative, adding a plan to my phone, telling me I will not be charged anything beyond the charge for adding the plan, and then I recieved a 365 dollar (my bill is normally 130) bill and then when I called back, sprint said it doesn't matter what the representative told me, even it was erroneous on his part, but I have to pay anyway.

What can I do?

You'll need to have the facts about the plan that was put on your bill.  Hopefully you remember the name of the Sprint guy you spoke with, otherwise it is sorta of your word against Sprint.  When you have your ducks in a row, you can file a complaint with the Better Business Board.
