altho YaBB claims that v2.2 is a "major" upgrade (2 years in the making), i think it should easier to *upgrade* the forums .. from v2.1 to v2.2

when "upgrading"from v1.4 to 2.1, i did a clean/new install of v2.1, and migrated posts and users from the old v1.4 installation .. (which is still there):

been deleting inactive users (>30 days) from the member's database, in preparation for the upgrade to v2.2

less users will make the upgrade go faster and be easier to back-up.

today, for example, i deleted ~2,000 members. my deleting-finger is numb.
