Title: Can you restore without wiping out other partitions in Ghost 2003? Post by ericfree1 on Aug 5th, 2008 at 6:30pm
I did one restore to a hard drive.
This hard drive had two partitions. I wanted to restore to one partition and leave the other one intact. I didn't see an option for this. Can it be done in Ghost 2003? If not, then in the latest Ghost version (14.0)? |

In Ghost 2003, it depends on how the Image was created:
Disk to Image will restore Image to Disk. Partition to Image will restore Image to Partition and you have the option to select which partition to restore to. Christer |

Actually, you can do single partition-only restores of images you created with disk-to-image too, you get the option of which of the partitions in the image to restore.
And the latest "Ghost Version" isn't 14.0 at all, the low-end consumer products sold as "Norton Ghost" are a completely unrelated product to genuine Ghost, the latest version of which is version 11.5, sold in Ghost Solution Suite 2.5. |
