YaBB v3.0 (a major rewrite) will be database-driven, tho it'll probably be another year b4 we see anything useable:

I've learned not to get in a hurry over these upgrades. Best to take my time, and not rush anything, especially late at night.

I suspect we'll be stylin' in our new 2.3-diggs sometime this weekend, or early next week.

The recommended "upgrade" method involves installing a copy of the new version into a new directory (such as "/yabb23"), and then copying/moving the contents of the /members and /messages folders t the new installation directory .. then re-naming the new folder to replace current one (/yabb2).

The 2.3 files have been uploaded to the server, chmod'ed (which suks = tedious), and are ready for installtion. (Trying to get a head-start. It'll take a while to dial in.)

Yeah, baby!

We're stylin' with Y2.3.

Lemme know if you notice any glitches. It was a significant upgrade, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were some quirks to work out.

No mods are available yet for this new board.

I'm not getting notified for new topics in the Norton Ghost 14/12.. board.  Also saw a post for a topic I had posted to earlier and didn't notified of response to that one.

Maybe it's just me?
