Not my area of expertise--but from what I've read, one has to use Microsoft's *SysPrep* program in conjunction with an imaging program in order to have a *base line* image that can be deployed to multiple hardware. I believe the Corporate version of Ghost was scheduled to come out with the ability to be restored to alternate hardware--but, I don't know if it's available yet--or just planned. An alternate program to Ghost called *ShadowProtect*, I believe, has the ability to restore to different hardware configurations--do some Forum searches here or Google searches on that product. |
