Look in the Admin area--there's a message dated 10/14/08 about an update for v2.3--have you already seen that?

yeah, right after they released v2.3, they noticed a problem.

but they didn't offer a patch with just the mod'ed files .. had to download a whole new complete forum version .. which had the same version number.
