I'm always glad when someone drops me a PM and I try to answer them as soon as I discover them. I've met several very good new friends through this process. I've even set my forum options, so that I'll be alerted to every new PM.

But, I'm bothered by the half dozen or so messages sitting in my "Out Box" that have never been read or answered. Some are now 2 months old. :-/

So, I admonish everyone who reads this forum, especially if you've sent a PM to anyone, "Check your PM's often".

i am guilty of this.

until i put a check in box labeled "Enable Personal Message Popup?"

found under PM Preferences in 'User CP' (your control panel)

now i get a nice pop-up message.

And, it's such an easy thing to do, so you're not ignoring someone who just wants to tell you how wonderful you are. ;)
