The "home version" of the utility is free.

P.S.: I have not tested this utillity myself.

You always seem to find the *best* stuff on the web!

I'm will have to try out the command lines for changing the active to inactive partitions--and hiding and unhiding partitions to see how well they work!

I haven't used EASEUS Partition Master, but I have used and recommended their Partition Table Doctor program, which has a free Demo mode to diagnose partition table problems. And it has saved me several times.
