Title: Using aliases for external drives Post by newbie on Jan 6th, 2010 at 7:11pm
I have two external esata drives and would like to use the alias feature as described on the page 41 of Ghost 14 manual. So far I have not figured out how to assign alias to the drives.
Thanks for your help. |

What part of the procedure is giving you trouble? From the User Guide, it looks like you select from the main screen *Tasks > Options*, then under *Destinations*, click *External drives*--there should be a list of external drives that have been seen by Windows there--you should be able to select any of the listed HDDs and create the *alias* name of your choosing. It's possible that the HDD has to be hooked up in order to work with it--but, it actually seems to imply that even drives not currently hooked up might be listed as well! |
