what file system?
ext3? how about clonezilla? http://mt4.radified.com/2009/05/clonezilla-best-free-hard-drive-backup-solution.html didn't sco do bad things to linux? |

SCO and Novell are (still) fighting in the courts over who owns Unix. The case is old (over 10 years, I think) and not going well for SCO. I think the outcome will be mostly symbolic at this point, whatever it ends up being. Most of the Unix world has moved on, using kernels forked from versions SCO likely couldn't claim ownership of. Linux uses some of the same GNU tools as Unix, but the original kernel was written from scratch by Linus, so there's no threat of SCO or Novell ending up owning it. Novell itself has put most of its weight behind SUSE Linux. |
