I have a problem which has been eating my head since long..  :'(i know compared to what you guys do around here what i have is a very simple stuff.. But i would sure appreciate it..

I have an acer laptop 5738g, 320 gb HDD, Windows vista 32bit, 4gb ram..  it has 4 partitions...about a year back my system had crashed.. i took it to the repair guys.. they repaired it and installed a back gho file in the D drive..

recently my system got infected with a malware.. and i want to restore the back up... Can anybody please tell me how to go about doing it?? i downloaded the norton ghost 15 trial version.. Do i have to purchase the full suite?? after purchasing how do i use it to restore my system? or is there any other way i can go about it without purchasing...

i would be very grateful if somebody could help me out here.. thanks! ;)

@ bassatom

A .gho is a DOS Ghost file. Ghost 15 doesn't support this file. If you can get Ghost 2003 (it is no longer sold), that would work. But restoring Vista can be tricky. Taking the computer back to the repair guys would be one option.

Rad has a guide on using Ghost 2003.
