Title: No idea where to start and my brain hurts Post by G.Reaper on Dec 17th, 2010 at 11:31pm
I want to do a simple task of ghosting my drive, the more I read the less simple it gets.
Any suggestion on which Ghost to use? First I am a newbie at this so simple is good I can find the direction on the process depending on what version I will use. I have XP pent4 3.0Ghz no partitions current C drive is WD 150G SATA want to create a ghost on a WD 80G drive IDE using a USB Really dont want to get into any of the problems I am reading about, have alot on the drive I want to protect. Which Ghost should I use? Thanks for any kind of help |

@ G.Reaper
Get the latest. Ghost 15. Rad has a guide for Ghost 12 which still applies to Ghost 15. http://nortonghost.radified.com/norton_ghost_image_storage.html You need to create a One Time Backup (recovery point). There are no shortcuts. You have a lot of reading to do, including sections of the Ghost 15 userguide. wrote on Dec 17th, 2010 at 11:31pm:
What problems are they? By the way, your HD is partitioned. You have a C: partition. |
