Title: Restore from DVD image with only one CD/DVD drive ??? Post by FromNashville on Feb 12th, 2011 at 9:00pm
I have only one CD/DVD drive on my computer. I want to save a restore point of my C: to a DVD.
My question is how would I be able to restore my C drive if the CD drive has the Ghost boot disk in it? If I remove the Ghost boot disk after Ghost is running, can I then insert the image DVD in the drive. |

No problems. You can remove the Ghost CD and the app will continue to run in a RAM drive. Then insert your backup disc. One warning. Optical media can be unreliable and the more discs that are needed for the backup the lower your chances of a successful restore. Do you have an external HD to receive the image? |
