Following the creation of both Base and Incremental backup points, the Event Log in my Ghost 15 records : Error E98F0004 RPAM initialisation failed.

The procedure appears to have completed correctly.

What does this Error Message mean?

Thank you Brian. Partition D: is neither a destination or a source drive in my backup procedures. I use a Partition D: for cache!

However, it appears that if the backup procedures appear to complete, which they do, to ignore the message.

I will do that for the moment, although I notice the Symantec article is 17-months old!
