Title: Windows 7, SSD and GSS 2.5 Post by lunadesign on Dec 31st, 2011 at 1:23am
When I build a system, I take frequent checkpoints with Ghost Solution Suite 2.5 so I don't have to restart from scratch if I mess up something while setting up my OS and apps.
I'm about to install Windows 7 on my first SSD (Crucial m4) and am curious if there are any SSD-related issues I need to be aware of with GSS. Specifically, I'm curious if I restore a Ghost image to the SSD, will that mess up any of the TRIM / garbage collection stuff? Thanks! |

Oh my....I really hope I'm not the first.
I've seen a smattering of people mentioning SSDs and Ghost or similar products in the same sentence but haven't seen a lot of helpful info other than being careful to keep partitions aligned appropriately. I guess I've got some experimenting to do.... |
