Hi, all,
I'm new in here, would like to enquiry how to create a bootable cd for ghost 12 in order to make it able boot and do backup drive to image disk. without install the norton ghost software into the windows.so we are able to run once the pc is start and boot from the cd to do backup or restore image. :)

Ghosts 12 and 14 are old software. Did you buy it recently? It should have come with a boot CD or a link to download an ISO. You can't make a boot CD from a Ghost install. You can only "customize" the CD you already have.

i bought it long time ago, but fail to make any bootable  cd, such as i can uses it to start the pc and backup the whole hard disk data, is there anyways how to customize it.

I think you will have to contact Symantec and get a link to download an ISO. Ghost is of no use without a boot CD to restore images. You can create images in Windows but they are of no use if they can't be restored.
