Title: Is Ghost 15 still viable? Post by John. on Sep 18th, 2012 at 1:16pm
I've been a Ghost fanatic and believer for years and years, but I'm beginning to wonder if Symantec or Norton is actually developing Ghost 15 or 16, or is even improving Ghost 15?
I think it's been over 2 years since G15 was released, and meanwhile I see other vendors (TeraByte, Paragon, etc.) releasing software updates regularly. But never Norton Ghost 15. With Windows 7 there are boot BCD considerations and utilities that are needed. None of them come with Norton. And now Windows 8 is approaching. Is it time to consider something else? What? |

@ John.
Ghost 16 can't be far away. I gather beta testing is over and Ghost 16 will support Windows 8. But that's all I know. |

Thanks Brian. I'm just concerned that whenever a vendor waits 2 years between releases, it indicates the software (and improvements) are not a high priority to the company.
G'Day! |
