Questions about mp3 ripping.
Dec 31st, 2001 at 6:59pm

Angry I have a few full album mp3's that I want to burn to disc. However, the entire album was ripped into 1 large mp3 file and thus only 1 track. My burning software (EZCD 5.02 Plat.) will only recognize the first song, which is only 3 min, the rest of the songs are ignored and cannot be recorded.

Is there a way to restore all of the tracks from this 1 large mp3, to separate mp3 files for each song?

If so, how, and with what prog?

if u can't re-rip ..

try converting to wave first:

http://www.winamp.com/download/faq/index.jhtml?filenumber=70&language=english&la...

if that won't burn, try sound forge:

http://www.sonicfoundry.com/products/NewShowProduct.asp?PID=426

save as wave, then cut out each section & burn individual sections.

there are freeware prgms that do this, but i don't know what they are, cuz i use sf 4 all my audio editing.
