hi all
i have read that only ghost2002 works with winXP but i have just imaged my XP partition(ntfs) with ghost corprate edition V7.0 without any probs.Not sure if the image will restore though.

Interesting. Did you create the NTFS partition with XP? XP uses/creates a diff version of NTFS (v5.1) than W2K (v5.0). Supposedly the two are not compatible.
It's not XP itself that is the problem; it's NTFS v5.1
You could perform a test-restore .. to a non-critical partition .. to see if/how it works .. but I wouldn't trust it. What would happen if something didn't work right? You'd cry.
Be paranoid.
