I'm working my way thro ghost 2000pe to familiarise myself before using.A few screens into program a screen comes up with "parent" in a box up on right,no reference to this in on disk manual what does it mean? Roll Eyes

what is a 'parent'?

can u post a screen shot, something like this:

I used ghost 5.1d for a long time, but don't recall anything like u describe.

it's easy to do, but not easy to explain. more trouble than its worth.

I think I've solved this,all thats happening when I press "Parent" is that the list of files on C:\ alters,it's not relevant to the process of making an image,so I can forget it and get on with making a partition and creating an image.
