Ghost and Mapped Drives Issue
Jan 20th, 2004 at 2:14am

Help Needed:  I have created a boot disk for Ghost.  When I boot to it, all of my NDIS2 drivers work fine and my autoexec.bat automatically maps my network drive.  From the C:> prompt, I change dir to F: [the mapped drive].  I go there fine. I can even change directories using the cd command.  If I do a DIR on the mapped drive however, I get an:

Extended Error 123

I have searched high and low for information to start troubleshooting the issue.  Can anyone provide some insight on this issue...please!!!  Thanks.

It would appear to me to be a DOS error since I get it when I execute the DIR command from PC-DOS 7.  However, I can not find what this error really means anywhere.  Since I got this trying to GHOST to a NAS, I thought this might be a good place to start asking ?s.

when you create a ghost boot floppy, it gives you the optiuon to use ms-dos (microsoft) instead of pc-dos (ibm). i would suggest trying that.
