Spysweeper finds an entry called "websearch toolbar" ,but will not delete it.  I checked it out on-line and Norton told me to update my virus definitions they were already up-to-date however.  My system restore entries have been wiped out.  My cpu usage spikes to 100% very often and my pf usage is between 300 mb's and 1.2 gb's.  My computer is beeping at me (I think it is trying to tell me it is busy)  Last known good configuration didn't work either. Norton, spybot and trojan hunter find nothing wrong.  One more thing which I do not think is related I recently moved over to firefox and IE will not go away when I tell Firefox to be my default browser even when i click on check next time at startup.
