Here's a link to just released pics of the damage to the submarine that ran aground.

It's amazing that only one was killed, from the looks of this.

Wow. That's gonna cost a fortune to fix. I remember we had to replace a valve the size of your hand & it cost $275,000. Everything had to be "sub-safe" (tested), and if was was "nuclear grade", that was even more expensive.

but never did anything with it.

I'm kinda surprised they published those photos.

The photo reminds me of how much bigger submarines look out of the water. We were in drydock a couple a times. Drydock sux cuz you have every Tom, Dick & Harry looking over your shoulder, watching every move you make. Inspectors galore.

Rad, CNN has five pics on their site. It really looks terrible. Wonder what they are covering up with the blue tarp.
