USB support in Ghost 2003 (Bootable CD)
Nov 5th, 2005 at 12:07pm

Hi,

I tried creating a startup (bootable) CD with USB support from within the Ghost 2003 program; but the disk (CD, transferred files from Floppy Disk to CD) does not sseem to work.

Would appreciate help on this with somewhat detailed / step-by-step instructions, as I am not too technically oriented.

Thanks,

For a step-by-step Guide on making a *bootable CD*--
with or without a floppy drive
--see here:

Creating Bootable CD/DVD's Without A:\Floppy Drive

No question is stupid...but, possibly the answers are  Wink !

I have a working std Norton 2003 Boot Disk CD (made using the program's native wizard interface) but this does recognize any external USB devices (in my case an IDE Hard Disk Drive).

Is there any way to modify the Std Disks to make Ghost recognize USB devices. (Similar to the Projects #s 2 & 3 at the page quoted:

Thanks,

That would be an internal IDE drive mounted ina USB casing.
