KATRINA: Animal rescues in aftermath of storm

If you love animals as much as I do, then consider: (1) contributing to the incredibly effective organization known as
'Noah's Wish'
; or better yet (2) becoming a field volunteer for the next disaster that strikes.  In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, folks from virtually every state in America sacrificed their vacations and free time to come to Louisiana's eastern Saint Tammany Parish where they lived and worked  in oppressive heat - under squalid conditions early on, I might add - while performing deeds of incredible compassion.

It is now December and they have since moved on, but it will take a very long time for them to be forgotten in these parts -
Godspeed to each and every one

what has happened and continues to happen makes my own problems miniscule; and belief in government .....choose a word.

i can't think of anything more to say except "good luck buddy"
