RAID 1

How can I know if I set up my drives properly for RAID 1? I had just formatted one drive and was wondering if the other was formatted.  Is there some utility that let's me see the activity on both drives?

When booting, my system (with built-in RAID controller) shows a RAID BIOS screen briefly which says *Hit Ctrl + H* to enter RAID Utility--there I have all the options for creating RAID arrays.

I think the same happens if you are using an *Add-in RAID controller card*.

Also, I have Windows software that I have the option of installing, that came with the motherboard software, that will allow management of the RAID controller from within Windows.

No question is stupid...but, possibly the answers are  Wink !
