This applies to a client's XP installation.

I have a simple batch file that Zips up some data files to an Iomega drive.  It is scheduled to run automatically nightly.  It has worked 'forever'.

Recently, my client moved offices and Comcast had to do 'something' to get their wireless network working.

Now, when this (4 line) batch file kicks off, we see the following message:

ERROR:  An Extended Memory Manager is already installed.  XMS Driver not installed.

The batch file does NOT do anything with memory managers AT ALL.  It simply changes directories, executes a PKZIP command, and does a DIR.

I would be grateful for any ideas, pointers, tests that might solve this nasty mystery.
