Ghost10 "Restore Anywhere" option?
Jan 20th, 2006 at 2:31pm

Hi - New Ghost 10 user.  I just noticed when editing settings of a backup the sentence "Restore Anyware Option is not licensed for this recovery point." Ghost Help does not mention this option; at least I haven't been able to find it.

Can someone fill me in on this option, and why it is "not licensed...?"

Thanks.

The "restore anywhere" capability is a feature of LiveState Recovery (i.e., 'corporate' Ghost 10) - but not available within Ghost 10 itself.

For a discussion of this capability, see this thread:

Thanks.  I wonder why Symantec would reference an option that's not included in the application?

Dave, where do you see the reference to "restore anywhere" in Ghost 10?

It's in the summary of settings for the backup.
