BSOD
Nov 28th, 2006 at 10:07am

After imaging a Dell Precision 370 and restoring it from DVD I get a BSOD. At that point I shut it down and it starts up with no issues. I am using Ghost 8.3 and had no issues creating the image. It seems to be that it's having an issue with the drive letters or active partition. It is a windows 2000 image and using sysprep. Has anybody seen this before? I have imaged MANY pc's and I have never seen this before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jim

Can't recall anyone else who used sysprep.

Nor can I recall anyone with your particular problem.

Why did you use sysprep? That is usually associated with restoring to a different machine.

Is there an error code associated with the bsod?
