Ghost 9 and cloning
Dec 6th, 2006 at 2:19pm

Does Ghost 9 support cloning? I can back up files and restore files but I can't seem to find how to clone a system. I have used older ver of Ghost and to create an image, just had to run ghost.exe. I have installed ghost but find the ghost.exe only find a  GhostTray.exe.

ghost 9 does not create *.gho files cuz it it is based on drive image, a prgm developed by powerquest.

but yes, ghost 9 *does* create images, cuz it's an imaging prgm.

u are having problems with this (basic) function?

Why would ghost take out creating the .gho files? I am not having a problem copying a HD but I do have a problem trying to clone one system to another. As in I need to set up a few systems all running the same OS and other software. the old ver of ghost use to let you clone one system to another.
