Using Ghost 8.2 problems
Jan 26th, 2007 at 5:07pm

Ok have done some looking around but have not found solutions that seem to work so here is the problem in a nutshell:

We are a laptop based so we have several images that we have created all DELL from the D800 / D810 / D820.  A new hire starts and we load a corresponding image the laptop and everything basically works well, except for the dual monitor issue.  The laptop when docked will always revert back to a cloned view as opposed to a extended desktop / or dual view.  Then you have to go through the display properties to get it back to dual view, not a huge big deal but it becomes tiresome.

The video cards are all Dell NVIDIA and they work fine before being ghosted. . . anybody have ideas?

dang, new hires. =)

i take you configured an extended view prior to creating image? i mean, it sounds like you didn't.

machines with cloned images have different bios specs?

different monitors in cloned machine as compared to the sourced image.??

tough one.
