NSR Cannot Boot from Cloned SATA drive (Read 3797 times)

	NSR Cannot Boot from Cloned SATA drive Feb 4^th, 2007 at 11:42am NSR drive copy worked fine. But when I switch to the new SATA drive (300GB), WinXP Home stops at splash screen. I've installed Recovery Console and run fixmbr and any number of diagnostics and it all looks OK. How can I get my Dell 4700 to boot up from the new drive?

	Re: NSR Cannot Boot from Cloned SATA drive Reply #2 - Feb 7^th, 2007 at 7:49pm Goodell's site was a gem. I used Method #2 and then had to settle the HAL.DLL issue, but now it's running like a top and more importantly, I understand how XP handles the drive letters. Thanks much!
