Questions about bootable CD?

Sorry I posted this one the general forum then I saw this new one for Ghost 10.
Hi
I followed the procedure listed on the web site exactly. The disk did boot my computer but when I booted from the disk I ended up at the a:\ prompt.
I don't have an a:\ drive on my computer.
I am running Windows XPMCE sp2 and all the Ghost files are installed in the default location.
I cut and pasted the contents of the Autoexec.bat and config.sys files into the ones on my disk so I know they are right.
So what am I doing wrong?
Second and this may be the problem.
Where in the heck is the ghost.exe file on my computer?
I ran search for it and came up blank.
When I look at the properties it leads to something called nswigho.nsi.
When I click on the Norton Ghost icon the program starts.
I don't remember ever not being able to fine the .exe file for a program before. I don't have any files hidden.
I have been working on this most of the day and I still can't get it to work.
Since these things seem to be pretty generic, at least the old boot disks were why can't Norton just post an .img file that can be downloaded for each version of windows?

In the USA, retail boxed copies of Norton Ghost 10.0 come with installation CDs for the
"hot-imaging"
Ghost 10.0 but
also with an additional CD for the
"cold-imaging"
Norton Ghost 2003 where
ghost.exe
is the application file
.

You set your computer startup bios to boot from the cd and it didn't start the Ghost Recovery environment?
Ghost 10 runs from within Windows XP. You only need the boot-cd to restore after a failed hard drive. All Ghost image backups are from the XP Ghost 10 program.
Did you download Ghost 10 from Symantec? In that case, you should have a .iso file that you create a cd from, then install Ghost 10 from the cd (not by booting from it, but by running it under xp, just like any other xp program).
See another thread in this forum with same problem.
