I've never had the Windows activation or validation process re-occur after restores on the same machine with the image of that machine.

Are you have a problem?

What OS?

What Ghost procedure(s)?

At my company we did a ghost image  a plain install of microsft windows xp  with updated patches and one with out  for testing . When we try to start windows xp with the pathes we were receiving error messages they were unable to start the computer with the patches. I  was not the one who installed or saw any of the messages , but i will try to find out more information. We are using the latest version of ghost.

But....there are several different *latest* versions!

I have all the latest patches--no problem booting from a restored image on my system--I have to suspect some other *issue*.
