Rad, starting with Ghost 10, the product does a check upon installation to ensure that all the device drivers it might need during a restore operation are present on the Symantec Recovery Disk. I am guessing that, in your case, one is missing (possibly due the fact that you are running/using a wireless network?).
Please see "Creating a custom Symantec Recovery Disk CD" on page 19 of the Norton Ghost 12.0 User's Manual.

Rad, in that case, you ought to be okay just using the standard Symantec Recovery Disc. Of course, it would be wise to boot into the recovery environment and check that you can access and perform a verify operation upon recovery points stored on your external USB hard disk drive.
As a new user of Ghost 12, it might be wise for you to keep a log of the questions you are asking yourself. That material could serve as the basis of a new "Ghost Guide," if you wish to create one.

Rad, you can make a custom CD which includes this driver.
From Ghost 12, File, Create Recovery Disk, etc

Would be worth doing, if just for the experience.
