Hi everyone  Smiley
New on here and was going to post a new thread but seen this one and thought i would post my question on here, hope thats ok?
The question i have is similiar to this one, it is regarding partitioning as well as raid.
My question is this?
I have ordered a new computor to be built and have had 2 250 gb hard drives to be installed along with raid 1 due to my last computor crashing and me losing all my music etc but the most important thing was my photos.
Anyway how should i divide this up? ok personal preferance but are there any kind of guide lines and secondly do i partition the second hard drive the same?
hope you understand what i mean?
cheers

I share my thots on partitioning here:

http://partition.radified.com/

Files not included in the system partition (such as MP3s) should be backed up to DVD(s).

RAID-1 (IMHO) is a waste of a drive. (Unless your are running a server.)

System partition should be backed-up with Ghost or some other cloning prgm.
