Listed below is the error message that I keep getting when I boot from the Symantec Recovery Disk.
I could not do a screen capture to make an attachment, when booting from the Symantec Recovery Disk.
"DlMapper.exe - Application Error
The Exception Unknown Software Exception (0xc000000d) occurred in the
application at location 0x004a5abb.
Click on OK to Terminate the Program.
OK"
I can boot from the Symantec Recovery Disk, from my DVD-ROM drive OK, but I
keep getting the above mentioned error message. If I click on the OK button in the error message, the recovery process continues, and I can get to Save & Restore.
I just tried this again. This time I connected my WD Passport
Drive and found all of my back ups listed, but, because of Symantec's
inability to retain the same drive letters, I get the following changes:
My F & G Drives (which are in my WD External USB 2.0 Drive) have changed to
I & J respectively.
My J Drive ( which is my WD Passport Drive) has changed to K.
The only problem I am really having is: Why do I keep getting the above Error
message?
Apparently there is something wrong to keep getting this error message. I
don't want to have problems if I want to restore a drive.
I did not go any further with the restore process because I didn't need to
restore anything.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
