Forum Font Size Templates

To all
I run my monitor at 1600 x 1200 resolution--the default forum template give a very small font size at that resolution.
Before Rad last updated the forum, I had created several larger font templates, but those were lost due to the software update.
It took awhile, but I've finally re-created larger font templates for those who might want larger font sizes for their higher resolution monitors--and aging eyes!
To change from the default (blk_gry3d), you go to your *User CP* (Control Panel), click on *Profile*, then click on *Edit Profile*. Enter your password and then go to *Options*.
Near the bottom you will see:
Quote:
Which Template would you like to use?
The default is *blk_gry3d*--font size is approx 12 px.
I have added *blk_gry3d_Medium* which is approx. 14 px.
And *blk_gry3d_Large* which is approx 16 px.
After selecting your choice--*Save* your changes and see what you think--I'm using the *Large* myself!
Now, if only the message text area would keep its size between sessions--I'd be very happy!

If you prefer the original forum's software default colors (shades of blue), I have added a *Medium* font size and a *Large* font size template--feel free to try them out--same sequence of clicks as mentioned above:
Forum default=approx 12 px
Forum default-Medium=approx 14 px
Forum default-Large=approx 16 px

Do you have a 21-incher? Flat-panel or CRT?

Well, we moved from the *city* to the *country*--I grossly underestimated the amount of extra work one takes on when you have some acreage!
The biggest problem was we were hit by the *perfect storm* by the housing market--the buyers disappeared. We finally sold our previous house and closed the deal just a week ago yesterday--so approx 5 months. Maintaining two properties really sapped the time and energy!

A 20 inch flat panel HP LP2065 monitor.

My buddy, Tom, *thought* he sold his house, but the appraisal came in low, and the offer was based on a decent appraisal. In the mean-time, he had rented another place so he could move out soon as the paperwork went thru. But now he's stuck in limbo, as he feels the buyers (who have excellent credit) are backing out.
So now he's stuck paying on *two* places .. which he can't afford.
Speaking of Tom, I need to give him a call... Didn't see him at the coffee shop this morning.

Post some pics of the new NightOwl estate when you get a chance so we can see your new digs. How much land?
How do you do that @ Rad thing?

See the little *Down arrow* to the left of your name at the far top left of your post? Mouse over it and the balloon says, *Paste User Name in Quick Reply Box*.
Just left mouse click it and it's done for you!

What gfx card?
