I have found nothing..
I have found an hidden folder VProRecovery with VProRecoveryStorage.ini files containing phisical path at my .v2i file..
I have recreated it with all correct permission..

batman,
I assume you have Ghost 12 installed in your OS. Can you mount the .v2i file as a drive? Right click the .v2i file, click Mount.
Your web link doesn't work.

I saw your error message on another web site. That's a strange path for a .v2i

batman,
I'm confused about your backup .v2i. I assume this file was originally on your second HD. Why is it now in your C: drive? A backup image of the C: drive shouldn't be stored in the C: drive.
Does it mount when it's on the second HD?
How large is the .v2i? Can you Verify the .v2i when it's on the second HD? Did you Verify the .v2i when it was created?

For Verify, see page 64 0f the UserGuide.
Could you try to Verify and Mount the .v2i when it's on the second HD?
I'm still not clear why the .v2i is on the first HD.
If it doesn't Verify and Mount from the second HD, could you copy it to another computer and try to Verify and Mount with Ghost 10. Sometimes a hardware problem causes images to not Verify or Mount.

You have trouble when you don't run Ghost the way it was designed to run.
The whole idea of a Ghost backup is to completely restore your OS drive in case of a disaster like a hard drive CRASH.
There should be NO need to reformat the drive and re-install Windows, or anything for that matter.
To do that, you must have Ghost on a bootable disk, either a floppy or a CD.
I think all versions of Ghost will offer to make that boot disk for you.
If you have Ghost installed on a reformatted hard disk, you should be able to run "Ghost Explorer" and open the old Ghost Image file and restore your data.
NO other program is required to get your data back from that Ghost Image file. That's just the way Ghost works.
Good Luck,
The Shadow
